Even this can be prepared like alu tomato. It is another variety of tasty chutneys. It is very easy to prepare.
- Potatoes 1/4 kg
- Cumin: 1 Spoon
- Pepper: 1/4 spoon
- Cloves: 3-4
- Cinamom: few
- Cardamon: 1-2
- Chilli Powder: 3/4 spoon
- Turmeric Powder: 1/2 spoon
- Garlic: 2 pieces
- Ginger: 1 bit
- Onions: 1-2
- Wash the potatoes in clean water,boil and remove the coat and mash into small pieces and mix with the sambar ingredients. Grind till soft mush is formed.
- Pour some oil into the pan, heat well and put the above mix and roast till a red paste is formed.
- Mix curry leaves,cumin powder and asafoetida.
- Roast the onion after cutting to fine pieces in ghee and add to the above mixture.
- Sprinkle with coriander leaves.
Serve with hot dishes.
