Boppai Halwa(Papaya Halwa)

  • 2 cups Ripe boppai gratings
  • 1 cup Sugar
  • 2 cups Ghee
  • 1 cup Sugar
  • 2 tsps Elachi powder
  • 50 gms Kaju
  • 50 gms Kishmis
  • A pinch Saffron colour


Cook boppai gratings mixing with sugar and little water . While boiling ,add safron and ghee. Cook till it leaves the sides of the pan. Add elachi powder and kishmis. Pour in a greased plate cut into neat pieces and garnish with kaju.
