• Sooji (semolina) 1 cup
  • Water 1 1/2 cups
  • Milk 1 1/2 cups
  • Sugar 1 1/2 cups
  • Ghee 3-4 tbsp.
  • Cardamons few
  • Cashews some
  • Raisins some
  • Saffron or Turmeric for color

METHOD : Roast rava in a ghee on medium flame till it gives out the aroma and turns light brown. Boil the water. When starts to bubble, add this water to the roasted rava. Stir well. As soon as water is absorbed, add sugar and salt and mix well. Cover for 1 or 2 mins. Add cardamom powder, almonds, mix and remove from the heat and serve.

  1. The ingredients have milk, cashews raisin and saffron.
    The method does not have any of these.
    There is salt and almonds in method and not in ingredients.
    Do you have the right recipe?
