In South India wherever any eatables are prepared chutney and pickles have prominence, as such in north, pudeena chutney has prominence. And there is not much difference in preparation.
- Spearmint: 2 Bundles
- Sugar: 1 1/2 teaspoons
- Raw Mango: 1 Big
- Chillies: 6
- Mustard: 1/2 spoon
- Salt: to taste
- Raw mango is to be cleaned and its coat and seed to be removed and trimmed.
- The spearmint leaves have to be cleaned, separated and mixed with trimmed mango.
- grind all the materials above without adding water.
- If necessary coconut can be mixed after grating(this improves the taste vastly)
This is avery tasty and healthy item.
