• 1 C flour
  • 1? tsp cream of tartar
  • 1 C granulated sugar
  • ? tsp salt
  • 12 egg whites
  • 1? C powdered sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 tsp almond extract

Preheat oven to 375?. Flour tube pan DO NOT GREASE. Beat egg whites, cream of tartar and salt till foamy. Add granulated sugar and continue beating on high till firm peaks are formed. Add extracts. Combine flour and powdered sugar and fold in (gently) mixture 2 tsp at a time. Spoon batter into tube pan and run a knife through to take out any large air bubbles. Bake for 30 – 35 minutes. Let stand inverted on plate or pop bottle till cool then remove from pan.
