INGREDIENTS :
- 2 cups leftover rice
- 2 tbsp any pickle
- 2 green chilies, chopped
- 1 small onion, chopped
- 1 tsp mustard seeds
- 1 tsp cumin seeds
- 1 tsp urad dal (black gram)
- 1 tsp chana dal (bengal gram)
- 4-5 curry leaves
- 1 tsp turmeric
- 2 tbsp oil
- Salt to taste
METHOD :
Mix salt and pickle to the leftover rice. Heat oil in a pan, season with mustard and cumin seeds. To this, add urad, and chana dal and fry for few minutes. Then add chopped green chilies and onions and fry until they are golden brown. Add curry leaves and turmeric and stir well. Now, add leftover rice and fry until it is done. Serve hot.
