• Potatoes : 4-5, boiled
  • Green Peas : ? cup, boiled
  • Spinach : 100 gms, chopped finely
  • Green chilies : 4-5, chopped
  • Coriander leaves : chopped
  • Ginger : 1 tsp, finely chopped
  • Chaat masala : ? tsp
  • Corn flour : 2 tsp
  • Salt
  • Oil


Peel and grate potatoes, mash boiled peas, blance spinach leaves in plenty of salted boiling water, refresh in cold water and squeeze our excess water. Mix together grated potatoes, mashes green peas and chopped spinach. Add green chilies, coriander, ginger, chaat masala and salt. Mix well. Add corn flour and bind to a dough. Divide the mixture into equal portions. Shape each portion into a ball and then press it in between your palms to give it a flat tikki shape. Heat oil in a kadai. Deep fry the tikkis in hot oil for 3-4 min or can also shallow fry on a pan.
