Aloo Puri

This item can be prepared easily. In South India they prepare poori palya, poori sagu in the same process with a little difference.

Required Items:

  • Wheat Flour: 1 cup
  • Pure ghee: 1 Big Spoon
  • Cooking Soda: 1 or 2 bits
  • Salt: 1/2 spoon
  • Potatoes: 3-4
  • Chilli Powder: 1/2 spoon
  • A little water
  • Oil for taste

Preparation:
Wash potatoes in clean water and boil. Remove the coat and press it to tiny bits. Mix these with ghee, chilli powder, salt and cooking soda. Add this mixture to the wheat flour adding water till a thick dough is formed.

Prepare small balls of dough and press on a plank with a roller and deep fry in oil till golden in colour.

Serve hot.
