Shammi Kebabs


  • Minced meat 1 Kg,
  • chana dal ? Kg,
  • cloves of garlic 15-20,
  • Cardamoms 6,
  • Cinnamon 2 one-inch pieces,
  • jeera 1 tbsp,
  • ginger 2-inch piece,
  • onions 2 large,
  • pepper corns 8,
  • red chillies 10,
  • cloves 8,
  • salt to taste,
  • eggs 2,
  • chopped onions and green chillies

Method: Grind all the ingredients from minced meat to cloves together. Add two glasses of water and boil. Simmer till water is completely absorbed and meat is tender. Grind meat into a fine paste. Mix the meat with the raw eggs and shape into kebabs. Fill the kebabs with finely chopped onions and green chillies. Deep fry the kebabs till golden brown. Serve hot with chutney.
