Getting Started with the Ingredients
For the dough
- 1 Cup Of Plain Flour (Atta)
- 1 Tbsp. Oil
- Water for kneading
For filling
- 1/2 cup tomato finely chopped
- 1 cup onions finely chopped
- 1 tbsp. coriander leaves chopped
- 1 tsp. red chili powder
- 1/2 tsp. cumin powder
- Salt
- Oil / Ghee
The Actual preparation
Knead the flour as stated. Mix Onion & tomato with all the other dry ingredients together. Roll out the dough into small puris & spread some of the onion tomato filling over it. Make a tight Swiss roll. Press together and re roll to full size parathas. Now cook on a tava (griddle) with Ghee until light brown and serve hot.
